Feedback from tutor and group:
- Need to make the mechanism click, or make a positive stop in each position so the user knows they have moved it enough.
- Need to design in some visual language that tells the user to turn the top section of the packaging.
- Should scollop the inside edge of the hole for the battery to make the battery easier to locate back in the packaging.
- A rubber overmolding on the base will provide some grip for the bottom hand and may also allow the user to open the packaging with one hand.
- A texture or feature on the top section that aids grip should be added.
- Service for battery recycling.
- Top plug looks too much like a button, a change of material may make it look less confusing.
